Merchandiser Responsibilities
Merchandisers make 4 visits to every store during each two-week promotion period.

Visit #1: Set-Up
  • Check in with store personnel
  • Check to be sure the mode switch is on the correct setting
  • Remove the previous promotional product
  • Relocate the previous promotional product as directed
  • Prepare and stock the display case
  • Scan product for current price
  • Display current price
  • Prompt for reorders
  • Sign the visit card
  • File visit report
Visit #2: Follow-Up
  • Check in with store personnel
  • Prepare the display case
  • Scrape any frost
  • Replace the POS and price card as necessary
  • Stock the display case
  • Prompt for reorders
  • Sign the visit card
  • File visit report
Visit #3: Follow-Up
  • Check in with store personnel
  • Prepare the display case
  • Scrape any frost
  • Replace the POS
  • Scan product for current price
  • Replace price card if necessary
  • Stock the display case
  • Prompt for reorders
  • Notify the FFM or DM about the upcoming promotion and prompt for new product
  • Sign the visit card
  • File visit report

  • Check in with store personnel
  • Stock the display case
  • Sign the visit card
